Because of all the effort that I put into creating my video preview of “Portuguese Whitework”, I’m going to wave it under your noses yet again and embed it here today. I hope you’ll indulge me!
Please share the video with your friends – its a great way to introduce the delights of Portuguese Whitework to them!
One of the hardest things about a new book is wondering what’s in it, when you haven’t actually got it in your hot little hands! So, right near the end of the video (at about 1:30), where the quote from Mary Corbet is, you can see all 10 projects that are featured in the book.
Order your copy of Portuguese Whitework today so that you can be one of the very first to receive it after our shipment arrives from the printers at the end of April.
I got to hear your voice! Nice video – good speed!
The video looks great – well worth the effort!
Hi Yvette! Congratulations! It’s lovely.
Can you explain me how can I publish this video on my blog?
if you don’t mind…
Thanks so much Meri! I really appreciate your comments – because you *know* about Guimarães embroidery!
Do I mind you putting the video on your blog? OF COURSE NOT! (Yes, I am shouting!) I want the whole world to see my video! 😀
Unfortunately WordPress won’t let me post the code here, so I will email it to you. If anyone else wants the code, just let me know!
Thanks to Meri, I got the link to your lovely blog. This is so dear to my heart…..I grew up in Guimaraes, the most wonderful town in the world. Without realizing it, I absorbed all that beauty that was part of my everyday life. I have had an eternal love affair with embroidery. I collect every shred of vintage handwork and have acquired the name of “mulher dos trapos” (Rag Lady).
Thank you Meri, thank you Yvette
Melis, what a lovely story to tell me! Thanks so much for sharing your heart with me!
