Today I have been going through the gazillion emails that my colleague received on my behalf while I was away in Ethiopia. There were only about 400 unread emails and probably three times that many that had already been read by her, but not yet by me…
In the midst of that though, I found some more lovely comments about my left-handed book, The Left-Handed Embroiderer’s Companion: a step-by-step stitch dictionary.
Thank you very much my book arrived on Saturday and it is just great, I can now do the stitches I had trouble with before.

I received your book in the mail yesterday. I am thrilled, inspired and overjoyed. Thank you so much!

The LH Stitch Dictionary is proving to be so very helpful. I refer to it almost daily, and am always impressed with the precision of your instructions. They are so clearly stated that it is impossible to stitch incorrectly. It is an invaluable reference book and am so delighted to have it nearby.

Thanks for the lovely comments on the book. I am thrilled and gratified to know that it is so helpful for you.
If you want to know what all the fuss is about, please purchase your copy of “The Left-Handed Embroiderer’s Companion” today! 🙂

I will add my own comments. I recently obtained three of your books from Nordic Needle here in the US. The Left Handed Embroiderer’s Companion is unbelievable!!! It just makes all these stitches seem SO easy. My goal is to do a swatch for each stitch.
I also purchased Mountmellick Embroidery which I have never tried but have always loved. As it happens, a friend is off to Ireland on Thursday so I’m giving her a small list to see if she can pick up a few supplies; otherwise it is Lacis for me!
Thanks so much for your wonderful books.
PS The other book – Ukrainian Drawn Thread Embroidery – also fabulous!
Wow – that’s not a bad wrap! Thanks! 😀
Elizabeth K, is it too much to ask that you might head back to the Nordic Needle website and post a review on the page for “The Left-Handed Embroiderer’s Companion”? Please? 🙂
Yvette – I will be happy to post a review at Nordic Needle. I’ve been waiting years for this book!!!
Thanks Elizabeth – I really appreciate it! 🙂
