Snow White Mountmellick – link to images

As I promised, here is a link to some images of Snow White, my Mountmellick project in Issue 62 of Inspirations. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there’s a better picture than the very difficult-to-see one at the top of the page.

You can purchase all the Mountmellick embroidery supplies needed for this project from me at Vetty Creations.

And I’d LOVE to see photos of people’s own completed Snow Whites! :-)

    Dear Marg,

Thanks for the kind words. I am glad you like it! I do think that the opening photo of the tablecloth in the magazine is particularly lovely – they did a great job! My husband was concerned about them putting cut figs on my work, but I trust the wonderful people at Country Bumpkin to take good care of my work!

Anytime you want to get started with learning Mountmellick, you know where to find me!

You’ll probably find that many of the stitches are already known to you. There are a few that are a bit more unusual such as cable plait stitch, but they are such fun to learn and then master!

The other thing about Mountmellick is using the correct cotton and seeing the true traditional effect of the matt cotton on the cotton satin fabric. It is a lovely effect.

I hope you do decide to give it a go. :-)
