In the latest episode of White Threads FlossTube, I explain how to check the thread count of a fabric, and what evenweave means.
I also show you the embroidery I am wearing for the day. (Still haven’t run out of embroidered things to wear, yet…) Today it isn’t something I made, but something someone made for me.

Just watched this video, loved the story about your sister’s present, I hate sending things by mail, you are so lucky to have a sister in the same field!
Nice tip about placing pins every 5 threads, I agree it does seem harder than it should be to count say 36 threads in one go!
I’ll try this next time, thanks so much, now I need to catch up your other videos!

I always seem to lose my place if I try to count the whole thing in one go. The extra pins make it so much easier!
Glad its not only me who loses my place!!!!
Just had another thought, I have used a hoop when stitching Hardanger, I remember reading that you dont, I’d love to see how you hold your fabric when say stitching kloster blocks without a hoop if its not too hard to do a video on this
Julie
Thanks Julie. I’ll keep that in mind!
