I recently received a letter from one of my long-standing customers. She delightedly announced that she had finished the blackberry table-runner from our book “Mountmellick Embroidery: Inspired by Nature”. She has been working on it solidly for quite some time. What a fabulous achievement!
When I was writing the book, the blackberry table-runner was the first project I made. It was such a big job and took so long that I thought I’d never get the book finished! So after that I moved onto some of the smaller, quicker projects so that I could feel like I was actually achieving something!
Now, there’s only one problem with the letter I received. There were NO photos! I want to see photos, people! I want to share in the delights of your achievements! 🙂

Just stoppin by to say thanks for your comment! Would you believe I started out doing cross stitch when I was a kid?? 😀
Also, thanks for the comment on my trolley! It is a replica of America’s First Subway! Please stop by anytime. Cheers from Boston! 😀
Hi Lone Beader,
And thanks for dropping by here too! You are also welcome any time.
I did my first cross stitch when I was a kid. It looks like we’ve both moved on from there in quite different directions! 🙂
