White Threads

more time?

I’ve been re-reading the Harry Potter series lately. I think I really could do with one of the Time Turners that Hermione has in their third year, so that she can have hours over again to get more done.

Seriously, I think I need to clone myself. For yesterday’s post, I needed to go searching through my files to find a photo of the organza Hardanger ornament. In doing so, I found my files for another Hardanger book that I started way back before I got sick with pneumonia and CFS. And I realised just how much of the book I had already written and prepared.

Then there’s the other book that I am “currently working on”, which would lead you to believe that progress is being made. Well, that would be nice! Unfortunately at the moment I just don’t get the chance to work on my own stuff – I seem to be spending most of my time preparing things for magazines and classes.

I either need another me, a time turner, or be more efficient with the time I have. Arrghh!!

Ok. Whinge over.

But if you do have any suggestions on how I can handle it all, I’d love to hear from you! 🙂

I’m thinking the school holidays may be a great chance for grandparent bonding time for a few days!

When you find out, let me know too. I’m having an orgy of throwing things out at the moment, but what I really want to do is stitch . . .!
