I read in the Sydney Morning Herald today about some 35 year old twins who were adopted out separately, deliberately, as part of a study of nature versus nurture.
The girls only found each other a few years ago and are very angry about their separation, and the fact that they SHOULD have been together, and have missed out on so many years.
I can’t imagine how it would feel like if it were me. I might not want to live in my twin sister Prue’s pocket, but we are quite close. I can’t imagine what it would have been like growing up without her.
I reckon I’d be pretty angry too.
