I got an email from my lovely printers. There are two advance copies of the book on their way to me as of today. Oh wow! Oh wow! I am so excited!
I’ve been doing some embroidery on some shirts lately, and trying to use a good range of stitches. I’ve been thinking that having a copy of my book to work from would be so helpful. And now its coming!
It means that the bulk shipment isn’t far off being sent either. As soon as that arrives, I’ll be sending out your copy if you’ve already got your order in.
I’ve also started work on the next book and keep thinking to myself that its going to be so little work compared to the behemoth that is “The Left-Handed Embroiderer’s Companion”…! Don’t get me wrong, it will still be a lot of work, but I think that perhaps everything else will pale into insignificance in comparison for some time to come.
White Threads is the blog of Yvette Stanton, the author, designer, publisher behind Vetty Creations' quality needlework books and embroidery products.

I wrote to Tricia Nguyen yesterday about support for LH'ers in the Thistle University On-line courses.
She's going to reverse all the stitch diagrams in photoshop, but I think we might be on our own when it comes to the animations.
Maybe, maybe, maybe this is something you could help with????????? I'm talking particularly about the Tudor and Stuart Goldwork Masterwork class with it's 28 stitches.
She is going to have a forum where we can have on-going discussions.
Hmmm… Now that's an interesting idea! I read about her university in the last few days and must say that that course really caught my eye.
I'll email her. Thanks for the idea!
