White Threads

Evaluating my FlossTube videos

Near the end of March I recognised that our world was changing quite significantly. A lot of people were isolating, whether voluntarily or because they had to. People were scared. People were lonely. People were looking for things to do while they were stuck at home.

And so I realised that it would be an excellent time to start a FlossTube channel. White Threads FlossTube was born! I saw it as a way of giving people something to look forward to in the uncertain times, with a bit of informal needlework education, chatting about needlework and showing you interesting needlework.

I had no idea that I would gain benefit from it as well, such as through the interesting conversations I’ve had with viewers as a result of it. So thank you to you, my viewers for being part of this with me!

Even though I’ve been working flat out to finish my book, it has been a welcome interruption for me, at times, to make the videos. They are enjoyable to make, which isn’t actually what I expected! And it’s given some variety to my week.

I’ve now done 48 videos, and I felt it was time to ask for some feedback. What’s been your favourite of my White Threads FlossTube videos so far? Why did you like that one?

I have a fair amount of variety in my video topics because I’m interested in a lot of things – is there one or more topic that you enjoy more than others?

Have you shared any of my videos on your social media? Why or why not?

Is there anything else you’d like to say to me about the videos?

Thanks so much for joining me in this new venture!
