In this episode of White Threads FlossTube, I tell you about the class I ran here in Walcha on the weekend, my plans for local embroidery classes next year, and show you a beautiful book that I shared with the class on the weekend. Then there is a tutorial on using hoops – when to use a hoop, when not to use a hoop, why use a hoop, how to mount fabric in two different wooden hoops, and what you shouldn’t do when mounting fabric in a hoop.

Thank you for pointing out that matching the shapes of the inner and outer hoops makes a much better fit. Once you said it, I was astonished I’d never made that logical step on my own. But you probably know that sort of thing is a lot of what you need to teach…
My pleasure Ann. 🙂 I’m glad you found that helpful!
