SAL: leaves finished

Here are the finished leaves – the set between the opening lily and the open lily. I have not yet decided whether I will add anything to them. I wonder about a centre vein, or adding a row of perhaps small French knots inside the outline of the leaves. I will leave that decision until later, when I can look at the surrounding motifs and their fillings and decide based on what’s already there.Lily leavesNext up will be the remaining pair of leaves just below the lily bud.

Hello Everybode, my name is Hanneke I’m from the Netherlands and just participated with this SAL. I received my threads balls of cotton and so on so now I can start also.
Yesterday I’ve drawn the patern onto the fabric so today I’m going to start with the stitching. First I practice the stitch onto a sampler so I get the of it then to the big step and stitch it on the real thing. (lol)Yvette thanks for the packet. I’ve printed out all of your mails so that I can follow the Sal. Hope I didn’t make to many mistakes in my English Have a great day Hanneke
