In the interests of finding out whether people want fire that can be nasally inserted (thanks Douglas Adams), I’m wanting to do a little market research.
The idea of converting my already popular left-handed stitch dictionary into a right-handed version has been kicking around my head for a very long time. Probably right from the beginning.
But there is a big reason that makes me wonder whether I should bother. Is there any need in this world for yet another stitch dictionary for right-handers? I mean, it was obvious that there was a need for a left-handed one. It is not obvious that there is a need for another right-handed one.
However, even right-handers are jealous of my left-handed book. As we found earlier, there is now left-handed envy. Is that enough reason for me to bring out a right-handed version of my book?
If you are right-handed and have seen my left-handed stitch dictionary, would you want to buy a right-handed edition of it? If yes, why, and if no, why?
I am VERY interested in hearing all opinions.
Thanks!

Hi there Yvette,
Happy to put the link on my facebook page.
I would happily buy the right handed dictionary…………..I love your style.
Bought your book on Mountmellick, but haven’t got around to it yet. So many things on the go, but intend to come back to you for the correct supplies and start doing it. Love white on white in whatever form
Thanks for all your hard work.
Happy Easter too.
Marysia.
Thanks Marysia, and happy Easter to your family too. 🙂
Hi Yvette!
I’m not commenting for long – things are a little bit chaotic over here…
Welcome home and have a Good Easter with your lovely family.
Yvette – Please write a right handed embroidery dictionary.
It’s not a matter of how many are out there already – it’s a matter of style and understanding of those who need to use it!
Your style is very understandable for me – Your Ukrainian white on white is just fabulous. even though I have embroidered Ukrainian embroidery for a long time – your explanation added to my knowledge and made my life easier in embroidering the white on white —
So please think of us – the right handers!
Thank you and a great Easter season and your return home!
Dora
I would buy it to, you are so descriptive and thoughtful in your books.
Cheers,
BJ
Thanks Dora. You are very encouraging!
Thanks for the encouragement, BJ!
