In the last few days I finally sent my next book “Frisian Whitework: Dutch Embroidery from Friesland” to the printer! It is such a relief to have finally done this. In this video, I take the opportunity to show you a project from the book: Frisian Whitework strawberries.
I also have an update on what’s next, travel difficulties, and fabric supply difficulties due to coronavirus.
If you are reading this in an email, you can find the video at https://youtu.be/PHcI4-3Ur_k

Good to see you again. Congratulations on finishing the book. Stay safe!
Thank you Rachel!
As with all your books, Frisian Whitework is now top of my Spring/Summer wish list! ? I’ll be waiting for the UK release, and I will love seeing your video project previews while we wait. The little strawberries are just delightful. The technique looks like all my favourite things: lots of interesting stitching textures and crisp white fabrics and threads.
It’s been quite a year! So glad your move went well despite the challenges of lockdown and that you’ve been able to complete your book. I look forward to seeing your lockdown embroidery adventures once you decide on your next direction, but I think maybe some ‘you-time’ embroidery would be a well deserved celebration of your present achievement. ???????
Thanks Kathryn. Thankfully house move happened well before coronavirus, back in 2019. I can’t imagine trying to have done it last year!
