Sardinian knotted embroidery biscornu class with Yvette Stanton

This class uses a highly textured counted whitework technique, Sardinian knotted embroidery, known as punt 'e nù, to make a pretty biscornu. It is worked on 28 count linen, with pearl cotton. The embroidery will be started in class, but finished in the student's own time.

The counted whitework and the buttonholed lace edging will be taught in class, and there will be an explanation of the construction of the biscornu.

It would be advantageous for students to have experience with counted embroidery for this class, though the technique itself will be new to all students.
