Sardinian Knotted Embroidery, known as Punt ’e Nù, is a traditional technique that comes from the town of Teulada in the south of Sardinia. The candle wrap is worked on 28 count linen banding, and it is recommended that you bring lighting and magnification, even if you think you will be able to see that count well.
This technique does not require a hoop, and using one will actually make it harder! The wrap suits a 10cm diameter candle, but there is no need to have this for the class.
