This runner features traditional style Hardanger embroidery, including two different rose motifs: the small star shaped motifs in the borders, and the larger, half star shapes in the centre band.
As is traditional for Hardanger embroidery, it is worked in linen thread on linen fabric (35ct). The linen banding used means you only have to hem the ends. If you prefer not to use it as a runner, it could be made into a bell pull.
Step-by-step Instructions for both left- and right-handed stitchers are included.
