Cotton floche
Cotton floche, also known as floche or cotton floche a broder, is a soft cotton thread, with some shine. It is a non-divisible thread. It can be used for drawn thread work, satin stitching, monograms, cutwork and fine whitework embroidery.
The size of this thread is given as No 16. It does not, however, equate to a No 16 coton a broder. It is closer in thickness to No 25 coton a broder. It is a softer and slightly more loosely twisted thread than coton a broder, which makes it ideal for working satin stitch.
