The other day I received a phone call from a left-handed lady in another Australian city who was feeling a little frustrated that she could not find a copy of The Left-Handed Embroiderer’s Companion<\/a> to purchase locally. I suggested a number of needlework shops to her that I felt sure would stock it. She went off happily, ready to continue her efforts to purchase the book.<\/p>\n

I have begun approaching needlework shops around Australia to ask them whether they stock the book, so that I can put together a stockists list. I understand and support the fact that many of you like to purchase locally wherever possible so that you can support local businesses. I think this is really important, so that we can keep those shops open.<\/p>\n

I have begun collecting a list of stockists – for Australia only at this stage – and will soon post it on my website. If you have purchased The Left-Handed Embroiderer’s Companion<\/a> from your favourite local embroidery shop, please let me know, so that I can check whether I should add it to my list.<\/p>\n

As you can imagine, I find it rather difficult to keep up with all the many needlework shops around the country, so if you can help me, I’d be very grateful.<\/p>\n
