These include:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.metmuseum.org\/collection\" title=\"The Met Museum Collection\" target=\"_blank\">The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/collections.vam.ac.uk\" title=\"The V&#038;A Collections\" target=\"_blank\">The Victoria and Albert Museum<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/digitaltmuseum.no\" title=\"Digitalt Museum\" target=\"_blank\">Digitalt Museum, Norway<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/digitaltmuseum.se\" title=\"Digitalt Museum\" target=\"_blank\">Digitalt Museum, Sweden<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.powerhousemuseum.com\/collection\/database\/menu.php\" title=\"Powerhouse Museum Collection\" target=\"_blank\">Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences<\/a>, AKA The Powerhouse Museum<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/collection.cooperhewitt.org\" title=\"Cooper Hewitt Collection\" target=\"_blank\">The Cooper Hewitt Museum<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If wanting to look at collections elsewhere, I will usually try to see if there are ethnographic museums or museums of costume, or folk museums for a particular country, city or region. These often have the sorts of things I am looking for.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have a favourite museum with an online collection that includes textiles and\/or embroidery? Could you share the link with us so that we can go and have a sticky beak too?
