In that group a member, Arlene, had posted a photo of the Portuguese Whitework sampler from my book <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vettycreations.com.au\/portuguese-book.html\" title=\"Portuguese Whitework: Bullion Embroidery from Guimar\u00e3es\" target=\"_blank\">Portuguese Whitework: Bullion Embroidery from Guimar\u00e3es<\/a>. Arlene has done a magnificent job, and I was pleased to congratulate her on her wonderful result. You can see the embroidery <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/NeedlepointNation\/permalink\/550026595074503\/\" title=\"Needlepoint Nation - Arlene Cohen\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. (Not sure if you need to be a member of Facebook to view this &#8211; hopefully not.)<\/p>\n<p>I also received an email from one of the Morpeth class participants, who has already finished her Portuguese Whitework ornament! Alison did a lovely job of stitching and finishing the ornament, and really enjoyed the technique. She&#8217;s looking forward to stitching more from the book.
