I knew that Christmas preparations and end of school year things would interrupt my work, but I just have to keep going! The project instructions are nearly all written up &#8211; first draft only, and there are still quite a number of technique step-by-step pages to work on.<\/p>\n<p>While writing the project instructions, it has crystallised for me which technique step-by-steps I need, and which ones I don&#8217;t need. The other day I thought I was going to need four more pages, but now I think I&#8217;ll save a few and be able to dedicate them to other parts of the book.<\/p>\n<p>I have organised a lovely testimonial by a highly respected needlework writer for my promotional material for &#8220;Portuguese Whitework&#8221;. Really, really happy about that! I decided that it would be really good to have one, and that if I didn&#8217;t ask, I&#8217;d never get a &#8220;yes&#8221;. So I bit the bullet and asked, and the person was kind enough to agree &#8211; enthusiastically!<\/p>\n<p>So there&#8217;s definitely progress being made, but most of the time its not stuff that&#8217;s interesting to write about!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been making slow progress here.
