I offer this reassurance: its not just you &#8211; it IS hard to find!<\/p>\n<p>The following are the places that I know of that have Mountmellick embroidery in their collections in Ireland (both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland). You will need to pre-arrange with the curator to see all these collections (except for at the museum in Mountmellick) as their Mountmellick examples are not generally on display. <\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin<br \/>&#8211; The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Holywood (outside Belfast)<br \/>&#8211; The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) library, Dublin<br \/>&#8211; Mountmellick Development Association Museum, Mountmellick<br \/>&#8211; An Grianan Adult Education College, Termonfechin<\/p>\n<p>If you do an internet search on each of these places, you should be able to find the details you need to be able to contact them and visit them.
