I never expected to enjoy it this much, but am finding several things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>that my first impressions of <a href=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/2010\/09\/23\/couldnt-wait-to-show-you-all\/\">the style of embroidery<\/a> are lasting &#8211; it remains as beautiful to me as I first thought it was<\/li>\n<li>that practice really does bring improvement when stitching bullion stitch<\/li>\n<li>that using the <a href=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/2010\/11\/22\/practicing-what-you-preach\/\">right needle<\/a> not only makes it easier, but saves time (when you are working the quantity of bullions I am, every second saved adds up to quite a bit!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In my spare time I have been working on my knitted fringe for the Mountmellick stitch along, and it is slowly growing. I should have it done soon.<\/p>\n<p>Today I will be having lunch with Janie Hubble of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Janie.Hubble.Designs\" target=\"_blank\">Janie Hubble Designs<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecatswhiskers.net.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Cat&#8217;s Whiskers Design Studio<\/a>, for us to discuss our joint stand at the craft show in June at Darling Harbour. We may yet have a third person joining us as well, so it could be a real bumper stand!<\/p>\n<p>I sent off a very large order of books to a freight forwarder yesterday to be sent to Search Press in the UK. Sales are going well of all my books, around the world. I also posted my next embroidered garment contribution to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artwearpublications.com.au\/index.php?main_page=product_info&#038;cPath=3&#038;products_id=3\" target=\"_blank\">Embellish magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And I continue to stitch up more of my little Christmas decorations to give as gifts.<\/p>\n<p>So lots of little things have been happening here, and I am very pleased to say that I am making progress on my next book.
