I know, I know! You&#8217;re as surprised as I am!<\/p>\n<p>I was sewing up some of my <a href=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/2010\/11\/03\/the-gift-of-stitching-ornament\/\">Christmas decorations<\/a> to give as gifts and I suddenly thought that I should see how it would turn out if I made one into a biscornu. So I did.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Christmas-biscornu-03291.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Christmas-biscornu-03291.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas ornament biscornu decoration\" title=\"Christmas-biscornu-0329\" width=\"213\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2422\" srcset=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Christmas-biscornu-03291.jpg 213w, http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Christmas-biscornu-03291-106x150.jpg 106w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 213px) 100vw, 213px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nI added a gold braid to the edges, which later I realised makes it look a little like I must have stuffed up the joins and therefore covered them over. No, my seams were fine, and I was actually suitably impressed with my corners! (Yes, very modest today&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think this is the beginning of any sort of love affair, though I do think its pretty nifty the way that you can take two very flat pieces of fabric and make them into a very un-flat ornament.<\/p>\n<p>I wonder if I can come up with any further adaptations?
