This style of embroidery is called Punt’e N\u00f9, and is from Sardinia, off the coast of Italy. It is a really unusual style of embroidery, in that it is made from hundreds (thousands?) of tiny knots worked on the surface of the embroidery. That makes it really textural and really quite unique.<\/p>\n
