Having the fabric flat in a hoop meant you couldn’t accidentally work the stitches too tight, resulting in unpleasant puckering of the fabric. Usually, I don’t use a hoop for Hardanger, but I did find it helpful for the fillings. <\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"the screwdriver slot on the tightening screw\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11230\" srcset=\"http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew-768x768.jpg 768w, http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew-400x400.jpg 400w, http:\/\/vettycreations.com.au\/white-threads\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/3inchhoopscrew.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n
I have these great little 3inch\/7.5cm diameter wooden hoops available.
