It is being compiled from submissions from anyone who wants to contribute, and let others know about their favourite needlework magazines. We welcome submissions from all around the world, and not just English language magazines.<\/p>\n<p>If your favourite needlework magazine (embroidery, knitting, crochet, patchwork, quilting etc) is not featured, please tell me about it. I&#8217;d love to know the magazine&#8217;s name, where it is from, its website address, what styles of needlework it features, and what you love about it. Mostly for children&#8217;s clothing, but also some for adults.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/craftlovers.com\/magazines\/88-creating-country-threads\/10196-creating-country-threads\" target=\"_blank\">Creating Country Threads<\/a> Country-style patchwork, quilting, and stitching.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artwearpublications.com.au\/index.php?main_page=product_info&#038;cPath=3&#038;products_id=3&#038;zenid=pfpjkuccnra1pup5apcc2ucpn2\" target=\"_blank\">Embellish<\/a> Focusing on embellished clothing, it has a mix of embroidery, fabric dyeing, felting, fabric manipulation and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/craftlovers.com\/magazines\/619-embroidery-cross-stitch\/10138-embroidery-cross-stitch\" target=\"_blank\">Embroidery and Cross Stitch<\/a> A lovely mix of embroidery projects, profiles and articles. Often includes goldwork, embroidery beading, hardanger, cross stitch, stumpwork and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegiftofstitching.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Gift of Stitching<\/a> An innovative online cross stitch magazine. Has large and small projects, allowing you to work amazing works for your walls, and small projects for gifts. Also features other counted thread embroidery other than cross stitch. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/craftlovers.com\/magazines\/93-handmade\/9808-handmade\" target=\"_blank\">Handmade<\/a> Craft, decorating and sewing. Simple projects, some including embroidery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.completecraft.com.au\/homespun\/Homespun_Home\" target=\"_blank\">Homespun<\/a> Country inspired needlework projects, with patchwork, quilting, and simple stitcheries. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.countrybumpkin.com.au\/index.php?cPath=2\" target=\"_blank\">Inspirations<\/a> Their slogan is &#8220;The world&#8217;s most beautiful embroidery magazine&#8221; and they&#8217;re probably not wrong. Stunning photography, exquisite projects, and high quality hand embroidery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jilloxtonxstitch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jill Oxton&#8217;s Cross Stitch and Beading<\/a> Large and small cross stitch projects, many of which can also be beaded. Beading projects including jewellery and pictures.<a name=\"France\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>France<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edisaxe.com\/_Mains_et_Merveilles-c-23_89.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mains et Merveilles<\/a> This is a lovely magazine from France. It features mostly cross stitch projects and some freestyle embroidery designs. A very different and charming aesthetic compared to Australian, English or American magazines.<a name=\"Canada\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Canada<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aneedlepullingthread.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">A Needle Pulling Thread<\/a> It is a Canadian publication. The topics and projects are also wide ranging, covering embroidery as well as knitting,crochet, quilting and other textile related arts. It feels rather homey in its approach, featuring a good selection of projects. <em>TB<\/em><a name=\"UK\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>United Kingdom<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.embroiderersguild.com\/stitch\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stitch<\/a> Published by the Embroiderers\u2019 Guild UK, it generally has some really interesting projects, a little more edgy than most magazines. Some projects strike me as quite challenging, and not always quite to my taste. Other projects seem more doable. But the magazine overall is very inspiring. <em>TB<\/em><a name=\"USA\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>United States of America<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.just-crossstitch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Just Cross Stitch<\/a> They have a wide variety of different patterns in each issue and also cover holidays such as Christmas extremely well. <em>SG<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.interweave.com\/needle\/piecework_magazine\/default.asp\" target=\"_blank\">Piecework<\/a> As well as a few patterns, each issue focuses on a theme, and contains wonderful historical articles. <em>M<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Big List of Needlework Magazines is to inspire us all.
