I will be teaching Merezhka for The Crewel Gobelin in August this year. It is a class suitable for beginners, though some experience with counted embroidery, such as cross stitch, would be an advantage. Merezhka is drawn thread work from Ukraine. We have had the same appointment time for several months and [...] I’ve just been noodling around on the web and accidentally found a lovely review of my book “Ukrainian Drawn Thread Embroidery: Merezhka Poltavska” on Amazon. Written by a lovely person named Sarah Danks from Springdale PA, it is extremely glowing.
