White Threads FlossTube #47 – Mountmellick Wildflower Cushion

Today I show you one of my Mountmellick cushions, which is available as a kit. It’s the Mountmellick Wildflower Cushion, and I explain about the stitches used, the knitted fringe, and what you’ll get in the kit. A kit is a great way to try Mountmellick embroidery as it comes with most of the supplies […]

Today I show you three of the Mountmellick embroidery examples in my collection. I talk about their features that are significant, whether […]

White Threads FlossTube #39 – Flick-through previews of Yvette’s books

That’s quite a leap of faith! Today I’m going to give you a flick-through preview of all my books, so that you can see […]

White Threads FlossTube #19 – Mountmellick embroidery and buttonhole stitch

In this episode of White Threads Floss Tube, Yvette Stanton talks about Mountmellick embroidery. She shows her Dogrose and Honeysuckle Mountmellick Doily, and her Mountmellick Pomegranate Biscornu. Classes with Yvette Stanton in 2020 and 2021

I’ve recently had a few enquiries about whether I could teach for a particular embroiderers guild group this year.

I love teaching embroidery. However, I don’t teach a great deal because of my commitment to my family, so my calendar fills up very quickly with teaching engagements. If you contact me at the beginning […]

I’ll be cruising again next year

In April/May next year I’ll be tutoring on the Craft Creations Cruise, from Sydney via the South Pacific and Hawaii, to Seattle. I’ve done a couple of cruises with Needlework Tours and Cruises before, as a tutor, and they are always most enjoyable.

I’ll be teaching three projects: Early Style Hardanger Biscornu, […]

Some of the participants of the class, hard at work.
